A room where the door closes behind you.

Laa Vidaa has been on the first floor of SoBo Center for fourteen years. It is women-owned and women-only, which in practice means the whole floor belongs to whoever is in the chair — no queue behind you, no audience.

The team are Schwarzkopf-trained, and the work that comes through the door most often is colour: balayage, global colour, and the corrections that follow somebody else's balayage.

Product tubes are opened in front of you and expiry dates are read out. A patch test is offered on anything active, and on first-time colour. Ask, and the answer is the honest one.

A balayage done elsewhere had gone brassy by the third wash. Rebuilt over two sittings rather than layered over.

Settled at the trial, not on the morning.

Trials are chargeable and booked as their own appointment, so the look is decided weeks ahead and the wedding morning is only execution. These three rates are the salon's own published figures.
